Ayan Muhumed
Behavioral Health Clinician & Writer

Salaam, I'm Ayan

I am a behavioral health clinician and writer specializing in the emotional and mental well-being of children and adolescents. I support young people as they navigate identity, trauma, transitions, and emotional overwhelm, with compassion, structure, and culturally mindful care.

My therapeutic work is deeply informed by both clinical training and my values of softness, structure, and soul-deep healing. I believe that children deserve safe spaces to be heard, validated, and guided gently, and that our work with the next generation is some of the most sacred we can do.

I also write for women who, like me, are unpacking what it means to heal, to feel deeply, and to reconnect with their faith in a fast, overwhelming world.

Ya Allah, make me a vessel of healing, and let every word I write be a source of light.

Here, you'll find:

  • Therapeutic resources rooted in faith and emotional safety
  • Reflections on mental health, identity, boundaries, and healing
  • Free access to mental health supports in Washington & Multnomah Counties
  • My growing body of writing, including my upcoming book, in sha Allah, on healing, wholeness, and the quiet work of coming home to yourself
  • Thank you for being here.

    With warmth & du'a,
    Ayan
